Giving women and children a safe and secure roof over their heads is important to us.
Through the Shelter Grant Program, we’ve been able to invest in organizations that’ll provide victims of domestic violence with ample care, vital resources, and a safe space to heal from their experiences.
The Shelter Grant Program applications were accepted from July 1 to September 30, 2023, and shelters and outreach programs across Canada were able to apply for a grant. The Foundation recently selected 13 recipients, and each will receive a $10,000 grant to put towards their goodwill programs.
We’d like to congratulate the following shelters:
Airdrie P.O.W.E.R. 7 Day Shelter – Alberta
Columbus House of Hope – Alberta
Pearl's Place Transition House – British Columbia
Evergreen Transition House– British Columbia
Women's Safe Haven – Manitoba
