Throughout her life, Mary Kay Ash showed others how to live, and how to give. She gave hope to women who lacked opportunity and self-esteem, and she gave financial support to the causes she believed in. Today, we honour her legacy of love through The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, which was founded in Canada in 2001.
Through its grant program and awareness initiatives, the Foundation supports women living with the appearance-related side effects of cancer through Look Good Feel Better, and by contributing to women's domestic violence shelters and supporting community outreach programs.
Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded almost $1 million to help women going through cancer treatment throughout Canada.
