While times are quickly changing, our mission has not. Throughout her life, Mary Kay Ash showed others how to live and how to give. She gave hope to women who lacked opportunity and self-esteem – empowering them to live with their heads high, crown on, and donning the brightest lip in the room.
Now, her legacy of (self) love lives on through the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, which strives to empower women and children.
Established in Canada in 2001, the Foundation’s mission is to support women living with cancer through Look Good Feel Better® and to help women experiencing domestic violence by providing grants to women's shelters and community outreach programs.
Our efforts are a combination of providing phenomenal makeup products and hope of a brighter future – we want the perfect winged liner on eyes we inspire to dream big.

Perhaps the most challenging thing about a cancer diagnosis is not the disease itself, but the loss of identity that comes with it. That’s where Look Good Feel Better® comes in.
They offer complimentary beauty workshops that give Canadian women the tools and techniques to feel beautiful and vital. In so doing, they help restore a sense of self and renew a feeling of womanhood – however these women choose to define it.
A safe space for women and children.
It’s estimated that 1 in 5 Canadian women will experience domestic abuse in her lifetime. We’re honoured to support shelters across Canada through our annual Shelter Grant program. These shelters help women and children in immediate danger, offer resources and support programs, teach teens how to build healthy relationships, and so much more.
Since 2004, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $1.689 million to shelters and programs addressing domestic violence.

Each quarter, the Foundation releases a limited-edition commemorative item, in which 100% of proceeds directly support the Foundation’s work.
