Dr. Beth Lange, joined Mary Kay in 2008 as Chief Scientific Officer. In her role, she shares a wealth of knowledge about skin care and Mary Kay® products with consumers and Mary Kay Independent Sales Force members. She also represents the Company to global trade associations and the medical community as well as leads the product integrity organization which includes quality, technical information and regulatory affairs.

Dr. Lange joined Mary Kay Inc. from Schering Plough Consumer Health located in Memphis, Tennessee. In her role there as senior director of worldwide skin care and international over-the- counter medicines, Dr. Lange was accountable for all new Coppertone® and Solarcaine® products in more than 40 countries around the world. She also led a new technologies group with managed intellectual property and competitive intelligence, providing benchmarking as well as emerging opportunities for the consumer division. Past positions also include management roles for Kimberly-Clark and Unilever corporations. She has been granted more than 20 U.S. and European patents in her career and has published her research expertise in technical journals, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and also has appeared on the Today show.

Dr. Lange earned a bachelor's of science degree in nuclear medicine from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, in 1991 and a doctorate in radiation biology from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, in 1995.
