A Little Creativity Goes a Long Way for the MKACF

Once again this year Independent Senior Sales Director Darlene Olsen proved she could get creative in support of the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation.

On Thursday, October 6th, Darlene, along with Independent Senior Sales Director Donna Witt, Independent Sales Director Colleen Worth, Future Independent Sales Director Adriana Toogood, Team Leader Helen Coons, customer Donna Pomfret and customer Lana Wyatt, held their 4th annual Creative Tables event.

Each table had a leader, who was responsible for creating a theme, decorating the table and selling tickets to friends who enjoyed a catered dinner and delectable dessert, as well as inspiring words from 4-time cancer survivor Dionne Warner, heartfelt thanks from both a Look Good Feel Better and Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation representatives and entertainment by a local singer from Regina.

The over 400 attendees were asked to decorate their table with a creative theme and the head of the table would provide a delectable dessert for their table to enjoy, after the catered meal. In addition, there were fabulous auction items up for grabs and fun draws.

All in all, the event raised $22,000 for the Foundation, proving once again that a little creativity goes a long way.
